We completely renovated both condos with one goal in mind—to create the kind of mountain retreat where we would love to stay ourselves. From comfortable furnishings and modern décor to cozy fireplaces, fully equipped kitchens, and Smart TVs in every room, we have thoughtfully designed each space.
Meet Stitch, our lovable Bernedoodle and official Chief Happiness Officer (CHO). While Stitch won't be staying at the condos (our properties are not pet-friendly), you'll see his smiling face on our website and guest materials. He represents the joy, relaxation, and happiness we hope every guest experiences.

SugarSki Haven is two renovated condos at Sugar Ski & Country Club on Sugar Mountain, NC. The two bedroom, two bath sleeps up to 6 guests and the one bedroom, one bath sleeps up to 4. Both include a full kitchen, fireplace, fast wifi and free parking, plus resort access to an indoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna and fitness center.
Yes. Sugar Ski & Country Club is the only true ski-in/ski-out condominium resort on Sugar Mountain. The two bedroom sits just steps away from OMA's lift, so you walk out the door and onto the snow — no driving and no parking hunt.
Winter stays have a two-night minimum, with self check-in at 4:00 PM and check-out at 10:00 AM. Booking direct on our OwnerRez page is the best value because longer stays discount automatically and there are no platform fees. In bad weather the Village of Sugar Mountain requires four wheel drive, all wheel drive or snow chains to drive up the mountain.
Peak fall color on Sugar Mountain usually lands in the first three weeks of October, with elevation staggering the show — the high ridges and the Blue Ridge Parkway turn first, then Banner Elk and the valleys into late October. Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and the Parkway overlooks are all within about 30 minutes.
